Value of the scoops is there! A scoop is $3.75, and there are some 35 or more flavors to choose from. French silk was a hit! Can't say I've found that flavor anywhere else. The staff was friendly, and they get their ice cream from somewhere in Michigan. Overall, we enjoyed experiencing this novel ice cream place while in the area for a trampoline play date.
I've came here all the time growing up and always love it! It's located conveniently in downtown downers near the metra and library. There's so many flavors to choose from and the staff are always willing to give you samples (which is amazing when you're indecisive like me haha). My favorite flavor ice cream is Oreo cheesecake!
They are not a homemade place and get ice cream from Sherman's in Michigan, and it's great flavor to it like the cotton candy confection was BOMB with little chocolate chips in it. You wouldn't think much of it but it is a BANGER of a flavor! Everything else looked okay but I didn't try much though I'll be back someday.
Great icecream and even better customer service! I have a nut allergy. Pretty severe. And we ordered a bomb banana split! Three icecreams. The server made sure to pull out new icecream from the freezer and three scooters for our split! Time consuming and needed a strong arm! Great job!!! And the sundae was very aesthetically pleasing and so yummy! They let you choose three different toppings will be returning!
Despite a recent reviewer saying they'd give them 0 stars for having high schoolers working, that senior citizen (said they were a senior citizen!) needs to take a seat. These kids are sweet, generous & honestly -- I was one of them in high school. So I am personally offended by what that person said, given that I know for a fact they have been absolute gems. I love this place & have since I was 6. 25 years later, I'm still coming back. So @seniorcitizen please do everyone a favor & take your negativity somewhere else because this place is the bomb.com.

Nice little ice cream shop in downtown downers grove. I like it. Lots of flavors, reminds you of a mom and pop place. I like shakes and they got Mackinac fudge ice cream flavor. It's basically like moosetrack without the peanuts. I really like it. I would definitely recommend this place!!!
It is hard to go wrong with ice cream! They have seasonal flavors throughout the year. A go to in the summer after bike rides and a go to in the winter walking around the village! The young girl working there was so kind, and being cold it was not very busy!!
Great service and a nice treat for our warm summer days We ordered three flavors , there was the orange cream , blue moon which we couldn't quite figure the flavor out but it was tasty and the cookies and cream that we are now fans of. It all tasted so wonderful and when you walk in and get hit by the wonderful aroma of the waffles being cooked, it's hard saying no to trying one. Overall satisfied and will definitely be back. There's a couple of benches out but sufficient standing spots and seats on the inside to enjoy your ice cream
